Dear Ian Morrison & Friends of the CBC,

As long as CBC only reports what it is told (basically) I find it hard to convince myself that there is any real value in the organisation outside sports.

I give you, for example, the bombing of the water pipe manufacturing plant in Libya which received no coverage from CBC that I can find, nor more importantly why the plant was bombed in the first place. That of course was so that the bombed water supply pipeline, which provide 70% of Libyan people with water, cannot be repaired.

Oh wait a minute that didn't get covered either did it?

Check it out on google and you will find all sorts of coverage including footage of the bombed out pipe plant.

At least you covered today's live update press conference but the only questions asked, by the few reporters who bothered to show there, were about Norway seeing the light and pulling out of attacking Libyan civilians, and the bombing of the satellite dishes for the TV station. When asked how that could be logically covered by the no fly zone enforcement and protection of civilians, Colonel Roland Lavoie gave the nonsensical answer that it was to stop propaganda. Propaganda? NATO is issuing nothing but propaganda that would have made Hitler and his crowd jealous.

My belief is that the CBC is failing to report to Canadians that Canada is not only in a full scale war against the Libyan civilians, but is also carrying out war crimes against them on behalf of NATO and the IMF and the Canadian people are being kept in the dark by the CBC. It is increasing clear that all NATO countries are being bribed, cajoled or threatened into replacing Gaddafi with some externally sponsored rebels, and you carry stories about this "ad nauseum", but where is the truth about this whole manufactured and criminal mess? Where is the truth about what Gaddafi has done for the Libyan people? Where is the truth about his plans to aid all Africa?

Where is the real reporting of who is killing civilians, and torturing government forces personnel? Why is Baird, and all his NATO buddies, in such a rush to back these rebels? Che Guevara would have conquered the world with this kind of support.

The No fly zone is so far exceeded with this incredible bombing of the Libyan civilians, their schools, hospitals, universities and their homes, and now to deliberately bomb their water supply pipes is beyond anything any reasonably sane or caring person would do but to coporations involved in rebuilding this damage it makes complete sense. To try to call it "enforcing a no fly zone" is mind boggling in it's deceit.

Where does the CBC stand on these issues? Well, it appears with their head buried somewhere it should not be.

If you really want the Canadian people to stand up for you CBC, then tell us what is really going on, and don't sugar coat it with politically motivated lies or propaganda.

Until you do my hard sought and increasingly worthless loonies will stay in my pocket.
