It would be interesting to see what could transpire with a new perspective on the economic development of our city.
Consider the last paragraph.

Now take a look at the list of current members on the City of Terrace website. It is no surprise that the membership of TEDA's Board is not a cross section of the community. That might be a place to start.
Social Services
Comment by Stacey Tyers on 30th June 2011
With the Social services being one of the largest economic contributors to this region, with the social problems facing our communities and with the clear connection between economy and social status, I'm shocked that you are not looking to ensure that social services are also represented as a part of the economic community.
confused!

with a vancouver website worth more than i made last year, and your statement of "Retention of business and industry in the Terrace area" please EXPLAIN to terrace why we would want to be a part of it? and explain to terrace the "NEW DIRECTION" that TEDA is moving in. and how it contrast's the OLD DIRECTION.!!! as per Allison walls request in your "SAM HARLING" article. ?????
Also please realize this. "an effort to support and sustain a strong vibrant economy" is the wrong effort. Before we can do that TEDA and TERRACE need to "CREATE" a strong vibrant economy before it can support and sustain it.
At the rate were going we will definately be sustaining our current economy by pissing money away like there's no tomorrow. I wish i could do more for TEDA or even be on the board however i am busy and my opinion on the current situation is all i can provide right now. sorry
