The most recent measuments indicate the levels of water in the Skeena River are dropping. The station at a location above where the Babine joins the Skeena shows an up and down trend but the trend appears to be moving lower, not higher. Anything can change.
The Skeena is showing the same thing at the Environment Canada monitoring station at Usk.
The pictures however are telling a different story. The tops of the picnic tables, today at Kitsumkalum, are all that is above water.
