Terrace residents are at it once again voting online promoting our community across Canada.

This is just a brief update provided to show how easy it could be to take Terrace to the top of the chart.

Hundreds of communities are participating and Terrace is currently bouncing between fifth and sixth position. With just a little assistance we will become known as the best fishing community in Canada.

In 2006, when I came to Terrace and began distributing newspapers door to door on Fridays I recognized one thing. This single thing becaame the one issue that has dominated my understanding of Terrace. Almost on every street I walked, someone was loading up their boat with gear hooked to the back of their truck. I cannot recall how many times I was handing papers directly through the window of the cab of the truck offering a second paper for them to start their fires.

Yes Terrace is Hockeyville, but like the Canucks, we'd rather be fishing.
