SECOND UPDATE! Terrace, as of 7:30pm, April 12, is sixth place across Canada. We passed Port Renfrew, to take fifth, for only a moment and remain in forth in the Western Canadian division.

Just a quick note to let everyone know, WFN (World Fishing Network TV) is hosting the Ultimate Fishing Town contest. Nominations were submitted over the past few weeks and there were some great fishing stories and photos shared about Terrace.
www.wfnfishingtown.caWe've got some stiff competition too, because this little contest comes with a $25,000 community donation and a TV special dedicated to fishing in the winning town.
The first round of voting starts today, April 12th and ends May3rd. Please, get everyone you know to vote and even talk to strangers (especially at the fishing spots or tackle shops) about the contest to spread the word and support our towns nomination.
There's some great fishing-related projects the money could go towards and the PR can't hurt our tourism either. Submit your vote today and every day during the voting period so we can be sure everyone knows, Terrace is THE Ultimate Fishing Town, Canada!
