Closed in both directions from 160 km North of Dease Lake to the BC/Yukon Border because of Forest Fire with unpredictable fire behaviour.

Temporary openings with Pilot cars MAY occur if conditions are safe, most likely between 8AM - 2PM, may be cancelled/postponed due to fire conditions.

Low confidence of opening.

Travellers should be prepared for long waits with adequate fuel/supplies. Alternate route is via Hwy 97, Alaska Hwy.
