Our Bear as a symbol to marshal around
REPORTING · 19th May 2007
Merv Ritchie
Gathering at the Coast Inn of The West here in Terrace Friday, the Kinsmen from all over British Columbia and the Yukon came together to raise the roof a bit and maybe a few eyebrows.

This annual convention is titled "Bear It All", and our town's adopted white Kermodei Bear has once again taken center stage.

Also on stage will be the Terrace Little Theater tonight at the Arena presenting a bit of dinner theater for the Kinsmen.

While enjoying the Friday Prime Rib Dinner at the Coast, the restaurant and lounge became busier and busier and we observed old friends and acquaintances enjoying the pleasure of meeting again. These were clearly a relaxed and happy group. We are even considering joining the Kinsmen. Seems to be no pretentious attitude with this group. Pure fellowship from our perspective.
